Confidence in Meters
Heat metering is mandatory in Denmark. For that reason the individual consumer cannot opt out of heat metering. Therefore it is reasonable to demand accurate meters. The heat cost allocation can only be fair when the data basis is in order.
Do the meters work?
At Brunata we get some requests from residents who believe that they pay too much in heating costs. However, a high heating bill can be the result of many things: that the radiator thermostat does nok work, that the consumption is actually high, that a new downstairs neighbour moves in, or that the meter may not work as it should.
