Heat from the sun and wood-fired stoves
Will the meter register heat from the sun and wood-fired stoves?
Reply: No. Brunata’s electronic meters (for instance RME 95 and Futura Heat+) are the only meters on the market capable of distinguishing between ‘free heating’ from for instance the sun or a wood-fired stove and heating supplied by the central heating system. This is the consumer’s guarantee of correct meter readings. With the capillary meter RMK 87, the over-filling of the ampoule ensures that the meter in normal circumstances does not register heat from the sun either. If wood-fired stoves are used in the property, you should, however, choose the electronic meter Futura Heat+ to avoid registration.
