Evaporative allocators
Why do you call your evaporation meters capillary meters?
Reply: We call the RMK 87 meter a capillary meter, because it is constructed with a capillary ampoule, which is a long, very thin glass ampoule. Because it is so thin, the liquid cannot run out and the meter can therefore be installed exactly where the measuring will be most accurate.
The main difference between RMK 87 and an ordinary evaporation meter is that RMK 87 does not register consumption on radiators which are not in use. That may seem obvious, but in fact RMK 87 is the only heat cost allocator using the evaporation principle which meets this requirement.
